Tough stance against misbehaving undergrads

Sri Jayawardanapura University authorities have suspended 20 female students for organizing a protest at the university premises and disturbing students.

All the students have been identified as first year students of the Arts Faculty.

In addition to this suspension for misbehaving, another group of students has been suspended for alleged involvement in ragging.

Students Union of the university backed by a leftist political party had organized protests against the suspension of the university students on the grounds of ragging and misbehaving. And also they demand another Vice Chancellor for the university.

Sri Jayawardenapura University authorities have taken a tougher stance against misbehaving students who receive their education at the expense of the tax payer.
