Higher education minister S.B. Dissanayake has said that leadership training for university students in military camps will include on how to be punctual about their daily ablutions.
Military camps will be the only spacious places available for them to be trained to rise early, brush their teeth, wash the faces and have their meals on time, he has said.
The military is the best place to mould intellectuals, as per the education policy of the president, Mr. Dissanayake has said.
It is the students who had ruled the universities from 1988 to the time I had assumed duties as the higher education minister, he has said.
After becoming the minister, he said, he had thrown many students out of universities to discipline them.
